My last post A developer announced the end of their technical blogging, stating that tutorials and AI-generated content do not make a meaningful impact. The developer will instead focus on learning and building software to solve real-world problems, emphasizing that life is short and should be enjoyed beyond technology. I realised the world doesn't care about one more tutorial, or one more Claude-generated blog attempting to demonstrate 'high value' to potential recruiters. Technical blogging won't impact the world in the magnitude I intend to, so the obvious decision is to focus on most important things: learning and building better software, to solve real world problems and not one more tutorial nobody cares about . Being passionate about dev and tech in general is a great thing, but at some point you realise you only have one life, and ai,software,you-name-it isn't the only nor the best thing in it. So, final words: live and enjoy the only life you got, whatever you do.
