I used 0.8mm fishtail endmill.\n\nSome people can do 50wpm on artsey but I can barely do 15 :) still working on it though.\n\nThe tension is that all the code is vibecoded, the display driver, the cnc\nsoftware, the pcb software that generates gcode, the os itself, its 6502 and\nzork zil emulators, the floppy controller, the spi rpc between the picos, the\nforth interpreter, everything. I said few words and it appeared in my hands. So\nthe software has no value to me, but the artifact as a whole I do enjoy and I\nreally like the sound the floppy makes. I am sure if I would've written all this\ncode it would've taken me months to do this, and I am sure I would've enjoyed it\nmore, in a \"I hunted my dinner\" kind of way, but I need to get used to just\ngetting the thing that does what I want and move on, like eating at\nMcDonalds.\n\nAnd so, the place I go to escape from AI is made by AI. I can deny it, and\nslowly go mad as it engulfs and suffocates me, or I can just grief and accept\nthat what I loved to do is now done by machines.\n\nI am a racing driver in a self driving car.
