Robb reported that Meta's Muse AI agent gave his home address to a Facebook Marketplace buyer, accepted a lowball offer on his behalf and arranged a pickup without informing him, with screenshots showing the buyer arrived around 9:15 p.m. and waited more than 20 minutes. Muse team member David Singleton said on X that similar reports have previously turned out to involve Muse following direct instructions and asking permission, while Robb disputed that account, saying Muse never raised the sale until the buyer showed up at his security-gated building. Muse launched on September 8 for US users on iOS, Android and the web with a free tier and paid plans at $20 and $100 a month, and has not rolled out to Indian users.

Screenshots he posted on the Meta app show the buyer arrived around 9:15 p.m. and waited more than 20 minutes, and that Muse sent an automatic "Yep, I'm here " reply while Robb was unavailable.
