Mistral Large 4 now available on AI Gateway

Mistral Large 4, an open-weight, natively multimodal model combining reasoning with text and image understanding, is now available on Vercel's AI Gateway, the company said. Developers can access the model as mistral/mistral-large-4 through one AI Gateway API key without creating a separate Mistral account, using the AI SDK, OpenAI-compatible Chat Completions API, Responses API, or Anthropic Messages API, or by running npx vercel ai-gateway setup for coding agents. Vercel said the model is useful for cyber defense, manufacturing, and finance workflows.
