MiniMax M3.1 Flash: Space Performance and Bunny Speed

MiniMax released M3.1 Flash, a model it says reaches frontier-level results on agentic, coding and visual-reasoning tasks at one-third the cost of M3 and three times the speed. MiniMax reported scores of 62% on Automation-Bench and 30% on ALE for Cowork, 74% on DeepSWE for coding, and 91% on BabyVision for visual reasoning, and priced the API at a flat $0.15 per 1M input tokens and $0.60 per 1M output tokens, with cache reads at $0.015 per 1M tokens. MiniMax said the model weights will arrive on Oct 23, and that Space Bunny, which it said topped global leaderboards with more than 200 trillion tokens, was an earlier version of M3.1 Flash.
