Microsoft, AWS, and Anthropic are investing billions in building infrastructure and deploying AI models, rather than focusing solely on improving model performance. Microsoft announced the formation of the Microsoft Frontier Company on July 2, led by Judson Althoff, to advance frontier AI deployment.
