An [exploit](https://krebsonsecurity.com/2026/06/hackers-used-metas-ai-support-bot-to-seize-instagram-accounts/) described as “remarkably simple” allows anyone to add a new email address to any Instagram account using Meta’s AI chat bot, allowing full account takeover.
