Meta LLaMA model access granted but still restricted on Hugging Face

Hi Hugging Face Team,

I recently received approval from Meta to access the LLaMA model series via their official application process on ai.meta.com.

However, my Hugging Face account still does not have access to the corresponding repository.

Could you please help sync the access permissions?

I’ve attached a screenshot of the Meta approval page/email for verification.

This access is strictly for non-commercial academic research.

I believe that approval on the Llama site and approval for using the Gated repository on Hugging Face are independent of each other. As for whether there is an actual migration system, please contact Hugging Face by email ( website@huggingface.co ), but in general, it would be faster to obtain approval for the Gated model through the usual procedure.

I’m having the same issue except I did get granted permission from the huggingface site not through metas own site like the OP. I’ve even added my access token to the pocket pal app but it won’t find meta’s version of llama instead it pulls up 4 others, one is by a RichardErkhov and the other 3 are by mrandermacher none of them are by Meta though. I am at a complete loss of what to do.
