Merit, Hire engineers based on simulated work Merit, a hiring platform, launched a four-week immersive engineering externship where candidates work in teams of three or four on realistic software, AI, and data projects, with an AI project manager assigning work, so employers can evaluate demonstrated performance instead of resumes and interviews. The Software track runs October–November 2026, while Data, Machine Learning, and Project Manager tracks are early applications for January 2027, and Marketing & Sales applications are open now.
