Memctl: Versioned memory for your coding agent (Claude.md / AGENTS.md)

Developer Elton Cherrington released memctl, a zero-dependency, MIT-licensed tool that versions, shares, and restores coding-agent memory files (CLAUDE.md, AGENTS.md, commands/) per project from a central store, supporting Node 18+ and tools like Claude Code, Cursor, and Copilot. The tool, built in one session by an autonomous agent as a proof of agent-made software, is not yet on npm and is available from source on GitHub, with a pay-what-you-want starter pack priced at $3–$10 in USDC on Base.
