Part I: Huawei Who is Huawei? Founded in 1987, Huawei is a leading global provider of information and communications technology ICT infrastructure and smart devices. We have approximately 213,000 employees and we operate in more than 170 countries and regions, serving more than 3 billion people around world. We are committed to bringing digital to every person, home and organization for a fully connected, intelligent world. At Huawei, we fully embrace the potential of AI. We are committed to building a solid AI computing foundation for the world. We continue to invest in our foundation models, as well as Celia and HUAWEI ADS agents. With a sharp focus on key industries and scenarios, we are building up an industry agent enablement platform and jointly innovating with partners. Together, we identify the right technologies for the right scenarios to help industries go intelligent. Internally, we actively apply AI throughout the company to strengthen competitiveness in all business domains. We are working with carriers and partners the world over to build future-oriented 5G-A and F5G-A networks. By making full use of AI, we are speeding up service innovation and network upgrades while enhancing O&M efficiency, helping carriers build more resilient networks and improve monetization capabilities. In the Middle East, we helped carriers launch AI New Calling services that support simultaneous Arabic-English interpretation during calls. In Asia Pacific, we worked with carriers to implement an agent-powered fault management solution that can pinpoint the root cause of faults in minutes and boost diagnostic automation from about 60% to 90%. We also published a replicable pathway to industry intelligence based on in-depth experience working with customers across the globe. Alongside our customers and partners, we also released global showcases for industry intelligence in electric power, manufacturing, retail, finance, transportation, and more, providing a series of best practices that can help speed up transformation. In China, we helped a customer deploy the world’s first fleet of autonomous, 5G-A-powered electric trucks for open-pit mines. This increased the overall transportation efficiency of each truck by over 20% relative to manual operations. In addition, the trucks work nonstop, even in environments as cold as –40°C, showing how technology can bring production safety to entirely new heights. As for intelligent automotive solutions, we have been using AI to make new automotive components more intelligent. We are now working with more than 600 partners along the value chain to promote technology enablement and ecosystem development. Through innovative collaboration models, we aim to promote high-quality development in the intelligent automotive industry. In the meantime, we continue to increase our R&D investment in intelligent driving, and to improve driving safety and user experience with technologies like multi-sensor fusion perception, high-performance computing platforms, and full-stack proprietary algorithms. By the end of 2025, HUAWEI ADS-powered vehicles drove a total of over 7 billion kilometers with assisted driving. HUAWEI ADS assisted parking had been used 440 million times, and autonomous parking-to-parking more than 30 million times. Huawei embraces an open and diverse academic culture. We actively engage with global academic associations as part of our efforts to identify and explore future research directions and cultivate STEM talent. Together, we are invigorating academic pursuits while driving economic progress.Cultivating STEM talent through top competitions: to inspire and engage the next generation of STEM talent, we contribute real-world industry challenges to global tech competitions.
