How did Nick Robinson get into acting? Nick Robinson was born in March 1995 and grew up in Seattle. Having always had a love for movies, Robinson started taking part in productions at Broadway Bound Children’s Theatre, a musical theatre for children based in Seattle. “It was my first introduction to acting, to playing a character, to being in front of an audience, and it definitely changed my life,” Robinson told The Seattle Times.
