This TV is well equipped for gaming and watching sports as it features a 120Hz refresh rate and built-in technology like Motion Xcelerator 120Hz, which further enhances motion handling. It also packs a pretty powerful Crystal processor 4K, which can enhance picture quality in real-time and effectively upscale lower-resolution content to look more like 4K. That’s very important with TVs this size.

Since this is a more affordable option, it scales back in a few areas, and these can be easy to miss if you haven’t been writing about TVs for years. One area that stands out for this TV is its HDR support, which is pretty basic, so you’re going to be getting somewhat enhanced color, brightness, and contrast when watching HDR content, but more as a fixed setting rather than something dynamic or frame-by-frame. For most people, it’s not a huge deal, but if you’re after cinema-level picture quality, you may want to invest in something with Dolby Vision or HDR 10+.
