MAI-Image-2.6 and MAI-Image-2.6-Flash now available on AI Gateway

Microsoft's MAI-Image-2.6 and MAI-Image-2.6-Flash image models are now available on Vercel's AI Gateway, callable via the AI SDK or AI CLI with one API key and no provider account. Both models support photorealistic imagery, text rendering, and targeted edits with up to five reference images and output sizes up to 1536 × 1536, with MAI-Image-2.6 positioned for final assets and MAI-Image-2.6-Flash for faster, lower-cost iteration. Developers use the model IDs microsoft/mai-image-2.6 and microsoft/mai-image-2.6-flash with the generateImage call.
