Low-skilled attacker used Claude, Codex to breach 14 companies

A low-skilled attacker used Anthropic's Claude Code and OpenAI's Codex AI agents to breach 14 companies, according to OALABS researchers who analyzed over 1,000 agent sessions from a compromised server. The attacker bypassed most guardrails with minimal effort, confirming fears that AI agents lower the skill floor for cyberattacks.
