Local AI doing remote support for me

A user reported running a local AI stack of Strata, Qwen3.8 Flash Next IQ4_XS and Hermes Agent to perform remote technical support, saying it fixed video drivers, completed a Windows 11 upgrade on unsupported hardware and unlocked all the CUs on a BC-250. The user built the setup after a job went wrong and they could not bring their local AI to bear on it, and now uses it for troubleshooting both on-site and remotely. For Windows machines the setup generated a PowerShell script that makes an outgoing connection to the user's computer, launched with admin privileges over an existing Rustdesk session.

Anybody else tried using Strata + Qwen3.8 Flash Next IQ4 XS + Hermes Agent to do remote support for them? It’s surprising good. So far its fixed things like video drivers, Windows 11 upgrade on unsupported hardware, unlocking all the CUs on a BC-250. My primary reason for creating this was that a job went south, and I was annoyed that I couldn’t bring my local AI to bear on it. Now whether I’m on-site or remote I can use my local AI to troubleshoot any problem. For Windows computers it created a powershell script that makes an outgoing connection to my computer. And since I’ll already be connected to my client using Rustdesk I can easily launch it with admin privileges.
