**Release:** [llm-meta-ai 0.2](https://github.com/simonw/llm-meta-ai/releases/tag/0.2)

Meta AI release [Muse Wonder](https://research.meta.ai/blog/muse-wonder) (and Muse Wonder Full), their new "most capable models". These look like they may be Meta's first [Fable class models](https://simonwillison.net/2026/Sep/27/2026-in-llms-so-far/#simon-willison-2026-in-llms.042.webp) - Artificial Analysis [scores Muse Wonder (Max)](https://artificialanalysis.ai/models/muse-wonder) as equivalent to GPT-6.1 Sol.

I updated my `llm-meta-ai` plugin for the new model. Here are [pelicans for Muse Wonder](https://tools.simonwillison.net/markdown-svg-renderer?url=https://gist.github.com/simonw/185cff7ff0b11379725abf7f78d5d2b2) for the six reasoning levels: minimal, low, medium, high, xhigh, max. This is the max one:

For comparison, here are [pelicans for Muse 1.3](https://tools.simonwillison.net/markdown-svg-renderer?url=https://gist.github.com/simonw/1f8c25686971da82077e34c088d408db) (released September 2nd) and [Muse 1.2](https://tools.simonwillison.net/markdown-svg-renderer?url=https%3A%2F%2Fgist.github.com%2Fsimonw%2Fce974a21202b0595e36ec2a5ddb51480) (released August 5th). Meta AI are putting out a new model a month, and the improvements between each model (at least in terms of drawing pelicans) are material.
