In previous parts we showed the list of top signers of LLM slop. At the top we had: ``` 32 Signed-off-by: Christian Brauner (Amutable) ``` Committing and **pushing LLM slop**. Amutable is a de facto Microsoft proxy and Brauner comes from Microsoft, where [he proudly pulled LP](https://techrights.org/o/2022/08/06/pivot-away-from-systemd/), the *other* Microsoft [head honcho](https://dictionary.cambridge.org/dictionary/english/head-honcho). Now only does Brauner still serve Microsoft; Brauner [trolls the Linux community about adding surveillance to Linux](https://techrights.org/n/2026/04/01/Microsoft_Uses_April_Fools_to_Joke_About_Inserting_Age_Verifica.shtml) (systemd @ msft github). Using the LLM marker/s or other metadata, we see all the double-digit sign-offs: ``` 32 Signed-off-by: Christian Brauner (Amutable) 31 Signed-off-by: Jori Koolstra 21 Signed-off-by: Linus Walleij 16 Signed-off-by: Mark Brown ``` An associate said that at least that LLM slop is labeled; but no... People like us rely on people disclosing it and being honest about it. In practice, many do not, they just plagiarise and cheat in secret. Slop in Linux is a bad thing, but if it is Microsoft infecting the kernel with slop, then it is even worse, the associate argued. [Microsoft's objective is to add back doors to everything](https://techrights.org/wiki/Microsoft_and_the_NSA/), according to [Snowden leaks](https://techrights.org/n/2026/09/22/Edward_Snowden_Lost_His_Voice_Then_His_Leaks_Lost_Exposure_Acce.shtml). Slop is a security threat; even the person committing (or push) slop to Linux might not be aware that there's a back/bug door in the code.
