Lenovo is expanding its enterprise infrastructure portfolio with new systems, deployment services, and pre-validated configurations aimed at helping businesses modernize virtualized environments while preparing their data centers for AI workloads.
The offerings are intended to give customers more flexibility in modernizing existing infrastructure rather than requiring organizations to totally replace their environments, according to Lenovo.
“Organizations are focused on modernizing virtualized infrastructure to improve efficiency and resilience while maintaining flexibility in an increasingly complex IT landscape,” said Scott Patti, vice president of Lenovo’s Infrastructure Solutions Group, in a statement. “Lenovo is helping customers modernize the infrastructure they rely on today with greater choice and control, while building an AI-ready foundation that can evolve as their requirements change.”
First up, the company announced ThinkAgile VX850 V4, a new hardware platform designed for highly virtualized environments and demanding in-memory workloads, along with expanded Lenovo Express Solutions and a new set of infrastructure deployment services.
ThinkAgile VX850 V4 expands Lenovo’s virtualization portfolio with infrastructure aimed at highly virtualized enterprise environments and demanding workloads. The system is designed to support both structured and unstructured data and provide a foundation for consolidating and modernizing business-critical applications.
Lenovo is positioning the platform as a way for enterprises to upgrade the infrastructure supporting current applications while creating additional capacity for AI-enabled workloads.
On the services front, Lenovo is restructuring its infrastructure deployment offerings around three defined service levels: Standard Deploy, Premier Deploy, and Premier Deploy Plus. The options are designed to allow customers to select a deployment model based on multiple factors, including project complexity, business criticality, internal IT capabilities and the amount of assistance required after deployment.
All three services provide a structured readiness foundation and expert hardware installation. Premier Deploy and Premier Deploy Plus add implementation and operational handoff support, helping customers move from infrastructure delivery toward production-ready operations.
Premier Deploy Plus also provides extended post-deployment assistance and a one-year infrastructure health assessment intended to help customers identify potential problems early. The health assessment excludes DE Storage Array.
Lenovo is also expanding its Lenovo Express Solutions portfolio through its Top Choice Express program. The pre-validated configurations combine Lenovo infrastructure with software from technology partners to reduce integration complexity and simplify deployment.
The expanded lineup includes Microsoft Hyper-V Ready Solutions and Windows Server, providing a validated infrastructure foundation for organizations modernizing virtualized environments.
For Linux users, Lenovo is also offering Red Hat OpenShift Virtualization Solutions, which allow virtual machines and containerized applications to run and be managed on a unified platform. Other offerings include Microsoft Azure Local with Lenovo ThinkAgile MX V4, supporting virtualized, AI and cloud-native workloads across distributed and hybrid environments with Azure management and operations. Lenovo is also offering ThinkSystem with Nutanix Compute Cluster, which provides independent compute scaling and workload flexibility, with Nutanix Cloud Platform simplifying virtualization management in a changing landscape. It also offers SUSE Virtualization on Lenovo ThinkSystem V4, supporting virtual machines and containers on a common infrastructure foundation.
Lenovo said the pre-validated configurations are designed to reduce the integration burden on IT departments and provide a more predictable path from evaluation to deployment.
