Leela 1.0 stands ready - The Theseus build that refuses to die A builder's stress test of the "Leela 1.0" Theseus build found temperatures never exceeded 75°C even with the GPU and CPU at 100% while running a large language model, prompting the builder to loosen previously overestimated thermal limits. Reported readings include CPU Tctl at 55.0°C idle and 75.0°C full load, CPU Tccd at 53.0°C and 69.0°C, GPU Junction at 36.0°C and 69.0°C, and GPU Memory at 55.0°C and 86.0°C. The builder says the system is working fine after the adjustment. After stress testing the system, I overestimated the temps. Temps are never above 75 degrees even when I blast the GPU and CPU on 100% and the computer slows down to a crawl with a really beefy LLM. So, had to adjust limits a little. But it is working fine now. Temps, in case anyone is interested: | Part | Idle °C | Full °C | |---|---|---| | CPU Tctl | 55.0 | 75.0 | | CPU Tccd | 53.0 | 69.0 | | GPU Junction | 36.0 | 69.0 | | GPU Memory | 55.0 | 86.0 |
