The TypeScript-based project, which ingests traces of LLM calls, retrieval, embeddings and agent actions and integrates with major LLM SDKs and frameworks, has been part of ClickHouse since January 2026. Most of Langfuse's code is MIT-licensed, with enterprise directories under a separate licence, and it can be self-hosted or used as Langfuse Cloud.
