Khmer Hybrid Calendar started with a simple idea: make Khmer calendar information more accessible and convenient for everyday use.
But I began thinking about a bigger possibility.
What if AI assistants and other AI-powered applications could access Khmer calendar information directly, instead of relying only on web searches or manually looking up dates?
That question inspired me to explore the Model Context Protocol (MCP).
Now, I've successfully integrated an MCP server into Khmer Hybrid Calendar, opening a new way for AI applications to interact with Khmer calendar functionality.

MCP provides a standardized way for compatible AI applications to connect to external tools and data sources.
With this integration, Khmer Hybrid Calendar can expose its calendar capabilities through MCP tools, making it possible for compatible AI clients to request supported information programmatically.
