Kharge said Anthropic demonstrated concrete applications: AI-enabled citizen services, multilingual experiences, and ways to mine existing government datasets for better service delivery. The focus is on responsible deployment—a nod to the risks of algorithmic bias in public systems.
Beyond governance, Karnataka is betting on AI skills. Kharge confirmed discussions around Claude certifications for students, professionals, and enterprises. The aim is to let startups and developers tap Anthropic’s tools, potentially creating a workforce fluent in frontier models.
