Jeonbuk National University selected for government-backed robotics graduate school project

Jeonbuk National University has been selected for the government-funded Support Program for Specialized Graduate Schools in Advanced Industries, receiving 15 billion won ($10.9 million) over five years to operate a Specialized Graduate School for Robotics through its Department of Advanced Robotics. The Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy designated the school on Monday, with funding aimed at fostering master's- and doctoral-level professionals in manufacturing robots and AI, and establishing a robotics industry innovation hub.
