JD Cloud plans 100,000-GPU computing cluster powered by Moore Threads

JD Cloud, the cloud computing arm of Chinese e-commerce giant JD.com, announced plans to build a 100,000-GPU computing cluster powered by general-purpose GPUs from Chinese chipmaker Moore Threads. Unveiled at JD's 2026 Global Technology Explorers Conference, the cluster will support large-model training and inference as well as embodied AI, marking the first deployment of Chinese GPUs in a 100,000-GPU core cluster at a major domestic AI cloud provider, according to Securities Times.
