@javisrike: ai coding feels like it has reached diminishing returns for me. luna is my default orchestrator, routing work by complexity. Software developer @javisrike said AI coding has reached diminishing returns, reporting that their default orchestrator, luna, routes work by complexity and that actual usage lands around 16% luna, 48% sol, 30% astra, and 6% terra. The developer added they care less about each new frontier release because the system already finds a capable model for the job. In a reply, @lemonthymeshortbread said they found the same with Opus and that no model consistently produces simple, easy-to-understand code. ai coding feels like it has reached diminishing returns for me. luna is my default orchestrator, routing work by complexity. in practice, usage lands around 16% luna, 48% sol, 30% astra, and 6% terra. at this point, i care less about each new frontier release. the system already finds a capable model for the job. the frontier is moving beyond my day-to-day work, so i’m happy to settle into predictable models for a while. @lemonthymeshortbread https://textlog.cc/u/lemonthymeshortbread?from=%2Fpost%2F3706%23post-3717 profile https://textlog.cc/u/lemonthymeshortbread?from=%2Fpost%2F3706%23post-3717 follow https://textlog.cc/pending-follow/user/lemonthymeshortbread?from=%2Fpost%2F3706%23post-3717 I carved wooden spoons and my favourite herb is lemon thyme. replied to https://textlog.cc/post/3717 @javisrike https://textlog.cc/u/javisrike?from=%2Fpost%2F3706%23post-3717 🧑🚀 profile https://textlog.cc/u/javisrike?from=%2Fpost%2F3706%23post-3717 follow https://textlog.cc/pending-follow/user/javisrike?from=%2Fpost%2F3706%23post-3717 Software • maker projects • music • DIY Mostly figuring things out as I go.: I’ve found the same, albeit with Opus — it’s hard to find uses for Fable. I don’t need a model that works for longer or works on harder problems, I need one that consistently produces simple, easy to understand, code; which at this point none of them do.
