Iterize IDE – open-source multi agentic coding platform

Lex Kosev, creator of the Iterize IDE, released Nyreth.ai in March 2025, a recursive symbolic cognition engine for structuring higher-order reasoning, and defined the Polarity Statement Taxonomy, a new term for semantically symmetrical statements that opposing perspectives can each affirm as true. Nyreth is a dynamic symbolic cognition engine, encoding multidimensional glyphic meanings, traversing resonance fields recursively, evolving meaning morphogenically, and constructing cognitive architectures beyond conventional AI paradigms. This can allow deeper insights in areas that AI currently, can only superficially mimic.

Nyreth is a recursive symbolic system for structuring cognition, language, and epistemic emergence. It is not merely a philosophy, nor a semantic tool, but a cognitive substrate: a designed architecture for higher-order reasoning.

The Polarity Statement Taxonomy #

(Created March 2025)

In March 2025, I defined a new term called a Polarity Statement, which I introduce here for the first time (8 May 2025). Below, you can read a taxonomy, comprehensive description, applications and implications stemming from the phenomenon. It has great relevance for psychological research, political discourse, diplomacy and high stakes debates of any sort. There is also an interactive companion educational app to illustrate how Polarity Statements work in practice, across many different contexts and levels of complexity.

Polarity Statement (n.)

  1. A single, semantically symmetrical statement containing opposing interpretive vectors, such that two or more mutually exclusive perspectives can each affirm the sentence as true from within their own framing, while simultaneously rejecting the other’s interpretation, despite referencing the same linguistic structure. The sentence functions as a semantic fulcrum, around which opposing perceptions can pivot.

  2. A cognitive Möbius strip: one continuous surface of language, twisted by perspective into interpretive contradiction, appearing two-sided only because perception bends it. Truth flows in opposite directions across the same words - not because of ambiguity or imprecision, but because the audience’s stance determines how it is interpreted.

This is a symbolic and cognitive-linguistic phenomenon that, though widely experienced, has not previously been formally defined. Polarity statements expose the underlying geometry of belief and the mechanics of interpretive conflict. They trace how language encodes ideological fault lines, allowing two readers to affirm opposite truths without altering the text - only the lens through which it is understood. The concept offers a symbolic model for understanding truth, rhetoric, and the structural origins of conflict and polarisation.

Polarity statements appear most often in politics, ethics, philosophy, poetry and current affairs. Understanding polarity statements can help to explain why some conflicts resist resolution: not from ignorance, but because participants interpret the same language from opposing faces of a semantic loop. It shines light on how convictions are formed, how language mediates contradiction, and how truth can echo from opposite ends of the same sentence.

Schimara - Introducing a new word #

Schimara was created early in 2025 and is a beautiful word to describe a beautiful phenomenon. The word is composed from the German schimmer (meaning a shimmer or glimmer, faint glow, a lingering impression, trace, haze, flicker), Greek mnene (meaning memory, imprint), and Latin aura (a breath, atmosphere, lingering presence).

The word was born out of the following feeling – a previously unnamed emotion: a presence on the fringe of perception, sensed by not quite realised. Something in between grief and nostalgia, not quite loss but an awareness of the transience of the moment. A moment of purity that will end almost as soon as it began – it’s a place where joy and sadness exist simultaneously but without contradiction.

It's a moment so delicate it barely survives awareness, but yet somehow towers over all else. Schimara is marked by temporal fragility, a lingering taste of something too precious to last, like the sear of the summer sun on your skin at dusk, like the ripple on a pond, a rainfall of leaves fanning across an autumn avenue, or a perfect snowflake on your hand – melting the instant you noticed its perfection.

The depth and richness of the German language permit many shades of meaning to be painted. In German there are similar words, including: sehnsucht (yearning, longing for something undefined, an unattainable ideal), verganglichkeit (bittersweet awareness of impermanence), and weltschmerz (sadness for the world not living up to its potential). None of them completely captures the essence though. Schimara is more personal and more ephemeral; it encompasses both joy and loss, presence and passing, the ache of almost, the beauty of what was. It is characterised by a sense of fleeting perfection, lost potential, bittersweet transience, the last breath before scattering.

The emotive word evanescence also deals with transience, fading, vanishing but differs in terms of emotional scope, structure and symbolic intention. Where evanescence describes the phenomenon of something that vanishes, schimara is the experience of noticing beauty at the precise moment it begins to vanish, and encompasses the feeling of everything that is within that moment.

Schimara, therefore, was born to describe:

“The shimmer of memory left behind when beauty vanishes”.

The essence of a moment that exists only in its vanishing – an imprint of impermanence. The word itself represents the shape of the meaning; it resonates in emotion and sound. It feels like the feeling it describes. It is drifting, dissolving, whisper like and fleeting. The combination of root words produces something akin to a phantom of radiance that passes through the mind like a ray of light and then exists no more.

Schimara is a word that was always meant to exist and now it lives in language. It is also an archetype. It may be used symbolically, such as a divine impromptu sequence of music that will never be repeated; an electric gaze connecting and seizing two people for a mere instant; the last touch of a hand you will never hold again.

* I note, Schimara is also a rarely occurring surname, however, the origination of the word
          is isolated and completely unrelated and unconnected to that name.
          It was derived as described earlier.

        You know they’ll grow out of this moment. That knowing brings ache and awe.
5.	Glancing out during a train ride: You see an ordinary scene — a dog running,
        someone waving, light falling on a building — and it moves you, inexplicably.

        The last sunlight filtered through the branches in thin strands, dappling the footpath.

Iterize IDE - Open Source multi agentic coding platform #

Iterize - a mission driven agentic IDE with persistent spec

Iterize is an open source python based IDE built with tkinter and stdlib. The core idea is that a project's specification, written once during planning, remains the connective tissue through every subsequent change. Instead of coding through a series of disconnected prompts, Iterize keeps the project’s purpose in view as it evolves. Planning, implementation, review and verification are connected through a persistent mission and project history.

Its workflow separates responsibilities clearly: a Mission agent coordinates the work, a Builder makes targeted changes, and a Reviewer checks the result before anything is written back to the active file. Changes remain staged until the user approves them.

Iterize also tracks code through a stable "designations" system, where IDs are assigned to every Project, Module, Class, Function/Method. It uses a Knowledge Graph to map project structure and relationships, and records significant changes through an "evolution history". When development is complete, the Verify system compares the current source against the accumulated project specification.

The result is an environment built not simply to generate code, but to help software retain its structure, intent and continuity through repeated change, especially for large, complex, multi module projects.

Iterize v1.0.0 is available for Windows and is released as open-source software under the Apache License 2.0.

Projectscope - prototype to turn a codebase into a KG #

Projectscope and its partner interpreter program were built on 16 Feb 2026, using ChatGPT, to turn my large and complex Nyreth codebase into a navigable knowledge graph, where the relationships between different parts of code; major functions, across modules - could be clearly delineated and interacted with. That is why you will notice the term 'focus lineages' appearing in the script.

The program would highlight how the code connects, and the data could be refined, and allow specific focus on the relevant parts being worked on. The compression factor is also friendly for LLM assistance, as the traversal of graphs is efficient, and a common factor in my other projects, such as the original Nyreth demo which was released in April 2025.

ValenceSphere is an experimental "concept-first" AI reasoning system, using triadic questioner (Socrates), answerer (Plato), and adjudicator for data auditing and verification to give AI models greater structure and the beginnings of critical thinking. It is structured as a two-stage concept-learning and factual-auditing system. Stage 1 builds structured knowledge about individual concepts. Stage 2 provides an ordinary LLM chat while independently checking factual assertions made by both the user and the LLM.

The program does not use machine learning models of its own, just yet, but this can be integrated later. It coordinates configured LLM APIs, structured concept templates, persistent audit records and a navigable knowledge graph.

Core purpose

ValenceSphere is intended to:

  • Build focused, reusable concept knowledge.

  • Break accepted answers into meaning-bearing semantic constituents.

  • Discover related concepts through the spawn system.

  • Monitor normal conversation without interfering with it.

  • Detect assertions that conflict with learned information.

  • Verify disputed assertions using three independent model configurations.

  • Preserve the complete reasoning and evidence trail in JSON.

  • Reuse previous adjudications when the same assertion appears again.

Program structure

ValenceSphere has two clearly separated stages.

** Stage 1 — Concept Formation**

Stage 1 creates the knowledge that ValenceSphere later uses.

Its tabs are:

  • Library: create, select, learn and delete concepts.

  • Concept: inspect the selected concept template and its adjudication activity.

  • Q & A: complete the focused concept-learning sequence.

  • Analyzer: use an LLM to break accepted answers into semantic constituents.

  • Spawns: review and create related concepts extracted during analysis.

Each concept receives one directory containing one live concept template.

The template is updated atomically. ValenceSphere does not create rollover copies or multiple versions of the same concept template.

Stage 2 — Model Workspace

Stage 2 opens in a separate window.

The left side is an ordinary LLM chat. ValenceSphere does not inject its templates, audits or conclusions into the normal chat request.

After each response appears, ValenceSphere independently scans:

  • The user’s input.

  • The LLM’s response.

The right side contains:

  • Questioner

  • Answerer

  • Adjudicator

  • Assertion Knowledge Graph

Summary

ValenceSphere combines structured concept formation with transparent conversational fact-checking.

Its central principle is separation:

  • Normal chat converses.

  • ValenceSphere observes.

  • The knowledge graph makes the disagreement visible.

Valence Sphere is not fully perfected and finished yet, and will be subject to further revisions and edits to come, but is released on 14 August 2026 as open source software under Apache 2.0 license terms.

It has gone through several revisions since then. If you have heard someone else speaking about similar ideas recently, perhaps you should ask the question - who did it first?

As we all know, unless you have gone to the trouble of setting up your own completely closed local model, everything you do with LLMs can and will be read and used by someone else.

This program was built to create an alternate AI reasoning architecture that starts from the concept up. It uses LLMs as a scaffold to do that. The intended outcome is that the model will gain greater structure and become capable of its own internal reasoning and develop critical judgment of discrete facts. Through its auditing and verification process, it can determine how reliable its own knowledge is.
