I suppose we’re ready to add it to hackage-server then. I am a bit worried about OtherCompiler. I am now wondering whether it would make sense to only make recognized compilers queryable. That way, the query language could permit multiple spellings like `MicroHS`\n\n*and* `MHS`\n\n.\n\nIt will be a while yet before MicroHs can compile all the packages needed for tests.\n\n[ijouw](https://discourse.haskell.org/u/ijouw)\n43\nI programmed a keyboard with Haskell by compiling with MicroHs. It links with a c sdk that supports usb hid (for sending key events) and some pin io. You can find it [here](https://hub.darcs.net/ijouw/HaskellKeyboard).\n\n10 Likes\n\nThat’s so cool!\n\nI’m happy to see MicroHs actually doing something.\n\n2 Likes\n\nOh so cool! I’m bookmarking this.\n\nI want to write MicroHs and/or copilot firmware for my “boxx style” Melee controller (which is basically a rp2040 keyboard that outputs gamecube inputs but with a lot of rules about legality of those inputs for fairness).\n\nI also noticed MicroHS being used to run Sabela interactive notebooks in the browser:\n\n[https://www.reddit.com/r/haskell/comments/1ucbg92/learn_you_a_haskell_live_notebook/](https://www.reddit.com/r/haskell/comments/1ucbg92/learn_you_a_haskell_live_notebook/)\n\n4 Likes", "url": "https://wpnews.pro/news/is-anyone-using-microhs", "canonical_source": "https://discourse.haskell.org/t/is-anyone-using-microhs/11437?page=3#post_46", "published_at": "2026-06-23 13:09:55+00:00", "updated_at": "2026-06-24 00:05:21.428351+00:00", "lang": "en", "topics": ["developer-tools"], "entities": ["MicroHs", "Haskell", "Sabela", "rp2040"], "alternates": {"html": "https://wpnews.pro/news/is-anyone-using-microhs", "markdown": "https://wpnews.pro/news/is-anyone-using-microhs.md", "text": "https://wpnews.pro/news/is-anyone-using-microhs.txt", "jsonld": "https://wpnews.pro/news/is-anyone-using-microhs.jsonld"}}
