Apple's upcoming iOS 27 update will introduce a subtle visual refresh to the Find My app with new navigation icons, a new left-side slide-in animation for incoming notifications, and significant improvements to the Photos app's "Clean Up" feature. Apple is also testing natural language prompt-based photo editing that would allow users to make edits via voice or text, though that feature may not debut in the initial release. New iOS 27 tidbits While much of the Bloomberg report recaps what we already know about iOS 27, there are a few interesting new tidbits worth calling out. - The Find My app is getting a “subtle visual refresh” that includes new icons in the navigation tab bar. - The “Clean Up” feature in the Photos app is getting “significant improvements during the iOS 27 cycle.” - Apple is testing “natural language prompt-based editing of photos so you can ask via voice or text for specific edits, like cropping or changing colors.” This feature, however, might not be available in the first version of iOS 27. - iOS 27 includes a new animation for incoming notifications. “They now slide in from the left side of the screen, aligning with the new gesture system: Users swipe down from the left to open the Notification Center because swiping down from the center now opens the Search or Ask AI panel.” Apple will officially announce the update on Monday, kicking off WWDC with a special keynote at 10 a.m. PT/1 p.m. ET.
