It is built to scale elastically to 1,000 servers on standard hardware. “We’ve fixed a lot of the major issues, a lot of the complexity that comes with pNFS metadata servers,” Ratcliffe said. “We’ve built this platform specifically for AI, really great with things like small writes, small reads, lots of bursty workloads, the agentic chaos that you get that comes with AI.” The rise of agentic AI has added new layers of complexity as organizations seek to move from concept to production.
