India-US tech diplomacy shifted from aspirational to operational at a June 25 Washington roundtable that explicitly targeted "durable demand signals" for AI, semiconductors, and critical minerals - governments on both sides working to derisk private capital rather than just announce intent. Ambassador Vinay Mohan Kwatra, MeitY Secretary S.
