GitHub said by 13:51 UTC that the Copilot degradation had been mitigated, reported Issues degradation at 13:42 UTC and its mitigation at 13:43 UTC, and said API requests were operating normally at 13:52 UTC, with monitoring continuing as of 13:54 UTC. The incident affected developers relying on GitHub's API and Copilot coding assistant during the roughly 30-minute window.
