Prime Day is just around the corner, but this Philips Evnia gaming monitor is already at its lowest price ever on Amazon. It’s now 16% off its list price and coming in at $539.99, which is a very good price considering what this monitor brings to the table. 
If you’re short on time, here are the need-to-knows. It’s QD-OLED and QHD resolution, with a DisplayHDR TrueBlack 400 certification, has a 360Hz refresh rate, and features Philip’s unique Ambiglow lighting, which is essentially its built-in aRGB system. As always, I’ll break down this monitor’s key features and specs below in a bit more depth, but in short, this monitor is going to be great for showcasing AAA games at their best, and it’s going to allow you to play at competitive framerates, too. Where it stands out from the crowd is with design, as it’s genuinely a unique-looking monitor, and would pair very nicely with white-themed setups in particular.

QD-OLED display for top-tier color and contrast
This screen has an impressive 98.5% DCI-P3 color gamut, a 1.5M:1 contrast ratio, and a peak brightness of 1000 nits. What does this all mean? Well, higher DCI-P3 color coverage means you’re getting much more lifelike and nuanced color, and it’s great for gaming, but especially for video editing, as DCI-P3 is the main standard in the digital film industry. Its contrast ratio is actually better than your typical QD-OLED, so you’re getting deep blacks but much brighter highlights. All in all, you can expect this monitor to make everything from games to films look stunning, cinematic, and atmospheric.

360Hz refresh rate makes this a great display for competitive play
With 360Hz and a 0.03ms response time, you’re getting something that can reach up to 360fps at QHD. That’s more than enough to give you an edge in many of the most popular first-person shooters, and it’s also excellent for gaming without much in the way of motion blur and ghosting. 
FreeSync Premium Pro is a big win for HDR gaming
This is the top-tier of FreeSync and is basically designed to eliminate screen tearing, solve for framerate dips, and reduce lag when gaming in HDR. Having built-in aRGB lighting isn’t exactly rare, but it’s certainly a more premium feature, and for the price, it’s a bit of a win if you ask us. This lighting, like Samsung’s CoreSync system, can change color based on what’s happening on-screen, which gives you another level of immersion.

Who is this Philips Evnia QD-OLED gaming monitor for?
This is genuinely a very impressive monitor for the price, and at its current price, it really does tick a lot of boxes for slower-paced, more cinematic gaming, competitive gaming, and even video editing. It doesn’t look like any other monitor on the market, which I think is one of its biggest selling points in all honesty, and I personally think it’s one of the best-looking white-themed monitors out there. In terms of performance, there’s not much in it between the current 360Hz, QD-OLED options, so I’d say if you like the look of this one and want something that’s also solid bang for your buck, now is a great time to go for it.
