Safe Superintelligence Inc. (SSI), the AI startup founded by former OpenAI chief scientist Ilya Sutskever, has struck a deal with Nvidia Corp. that gives it access to Nvidia's Vera Rubin graphics processing units, increasing its compute by an order of magnitude. Nvidia is also making a multi-billion-dollar investment in SSI after gaining rare access to its secret research, which has shown significant milestones toward safe superintelligence.
