The company described the lineup on X with a short message: “From the road to a vision of what’s next. See you in Berlin.” The automotive display adds cars to Xiaomi’s first IFA appearance, which also includes phones, computers and smart-home hardware. Xiaomi says it is the first Chinese brand and the first technology company invited to the program; the car will be drivable in **Gran Turismo 7**, but Xiaomi does not plan to build it as a road car. In April 2025, the Nürburgring confirmed that an SU7 Ultra driven by Vincent Radermecker completed the Nordschleife in **7:04.957**, setting a record in the circuit’s Electric Executive Car class. The SU7 Max is the volume model, with the second-generation SU7 range arriving on **March 19, 2026**. Its 508-kW output and 101.7-kWh battery are less extreme than the Ultra’s hardware, while its claimed 835-km CLTC range is substantially higher. That range figure needs regional context for US readers. CLTC is a Chinese test cycle and is less demanding than Europe’s WLTP procedure, so the SU7 Max’s real-world range will be lower than its headline number. The available material does not provide an EPA estimate, US certification data or an independent range test. ## China pricing, Europe plans and the US gap The SU7 Ultra starts at **529,900 yuan** in China, while the SU7 Max is listed at **303,900 yuan**. No US dollar pricing has been announced, and there is no indication that either model has been certified or scheduled for sale in the United States. Xiaomi has said it plans to begin selling cars in **Europe in 2027**. The company operates a research center in Munich and registered the first road-legal SU7 Ultra in Europe in July 2025, but those facts do not establish that the production car will be available in any specific European country or that it will meet US requirements. The company also plans to spend **€7.4 billion on AI research between 2026 and 2028**. That investment may explain why Xiaomi is presenting automotive products at a consumer-electronics trade show, but the IFA announcement itself is about the vehicles and provides no technical details about an AI stack, autonomous-driving system or software licensing model. For now, IFA is not a US product launch.
