# IFA 2026: Haier Vision 15, Maestro fridge and Exoskeleton

Haier showed AI appliances, humanoid robots and an adaptive exoskeleton at IFA 2026, backed by a planned €13 billion investment.

Haier used IFA 2026 in Berlin to show how it wants to move beyond isolated smart appliances: the company is combining cameras, sensors, algorithms, connected services and robotics into a coordinated home platform. The architecture is clear even where the implementation details are not: the appliances collect information about their physical state or surroundings, software interprets it, and the device changes its operation. Neil Tunstall, CEO of Haier Europe, framed the cooking use case as a way to reduce routine work rather than add another interface to manage.

“The product now will do that for you. And that hopefully means then that we can actually enjoy eating much more at home.”

That promise depends on the systems making reliable decisions without creating new setup and correction work. Haier did not disclose how much user intervention the appliances require, what happens when recognition fails, or whether the relevant features require an account, an internet connection or a paid service. ## Robots, physical assistance and the limits of the demos

Haier extended the same “sense, interpret and act” model into physical robotics. The cleaning systems are a more direct continuation of existing household automation: perception is used to distinguish objects and dirt types before the robot decides how to clean.
