The tool encrypts API keys with AES-256-GCM and enforces a human-in-the-loop workflow where AI agents research and prepare trades but cannot execute them without human approval. Trade MCP supports connections to Binance, Bybit, OKX, and Coinbase, and includes a React dashboard for managing configurations.", "body_md": "I built **Trade MCP**.\n\nGitHub: [https://github.com/AmaLS367/TradeMcp](https://github.com/AmaLS367/TradeMcp)\n\nAnd no, this is not another “AI trading bot that will make you rich while you sleep” thing.\n\nThat stuff sounds cool until you remember one small detail:\n\n**letting an AI agent freely touch your exchange account is insane.**\n\nSo I built Trade MCP around a different idea:\n\nAI should research, compare and prepare.\n\nHumans should approve dangerous actions.\n\nSimple. Safer. Actually usable.\n\n**Trade MCP** is a remote MCP server and dashboard for crypto workflows.\n\nIt connects AI clients to:\n\nThe goal is not to replace your brain.\n\nThe goal is to give your AI assistant real tools without turning it into a financial gremlin with API keys.\n\nMCP is powerful.\n\nBut when crypto gets involved, things become dangerous very quickly.\n\nA normal AI crypto setup usually looks like one of these:\n\n`.env`\n\nfilesThat is not good enough.\n\nIf money is involved, the system needs:\n\nSo I started building that.\n\nTrade MCP is built for exchange connections like:\n\nAPI keys are not supposed to just sit in random config files.\n\nThey are encrypted with **AES-256-GCM** before storage.\n\nBecause “just put your exchange key in plain text” is not a security strategy. It is a cry for help.\n\nAI models do not magically know live market data.\n\nSo Trade MCP supports external provider connections for market context.\n\nExamples:\n\nThis lets AI answer using actual data instead of confident nonsense.\n\nAnd confident nonsense in trading is expensive.\n\nCrypto Earn products are annoying to compare manually.\n\nDifferent platforms.\n\nDifferent APY.\n\nDifferent assets.\n\nDifferent lock periods.\n\nDifferent conditions.\n\nTrade MCP is built to help aggregate and compare those opportunities so an AI client can give a more useful answer.\n\nNot just:\n\n“Maybe staking is good.”\n\nBut actual structured comparison.\n\nLocal MCP is cool for small scripts.\n\nBut for a real tool, remote MCP feels much better.\n\nTrade MCP gives you a remote MCP server approach:\n\nThis makes the project feel less like a hacky local experiment and more like infrastructure.\n\nTrade MCP also has a React dashboard.\n\nBecause editing everything through config files gets old fast.\n\nThe dashboard is meant for:\n\nA tool can be powerful, but if the UX is painful, people will not use it.\n\nThe project uses:\n\nSo it is not just a lonely script in a folder named `final-final-real-version`\n\n.\n\nIt has a real app structure, backend, frontend, docs, tests and deployment setup.\n\nI do not think AI agents should instantly execute trades with full freedom.\n\nThat sounds impressive in a demo.\n\nIn real life, it is how you speedrun regret.\n\nA better workflow is:\n\nThat is the core idea behind Trade MCP.\n\nLet AI prepare.\n\nLet humans approve.\n\nImagine this:\n\nCompare my USDT Earn options and find better available opportunities.\n\nOr:\n\nAnalyze BTC market context and prepare a possible trade plan, but do not execute anything.\n\nThe AI can use MCP tools to gather context.\n\nThen it can prepare an answer or proposal.\n\nYou stay in control.\n\nThat is the important part.\n\nBecause AI agents are becoming more capable.\n\nBut more capability without more control is not automatically good.\n\nEspecially in crypto.\n\nTrade MCP tries to give the agent useful abilities while still keeping the dangerous parts behind proper structure.\n\nThat means:\n\nJust a cleaner foundation for AI-assisted crypto workflows.\n\nTrade MCP is still evolving.\n\nThings I want to improve:\n\nSo no, this is not “finished forever”.\n\nBut it is already a serious foundation.\n\nI built **Trade MCP**.\n\nIt is a remote MCP server and dashboard for crypto workflows.\n\nIt supports:\n\nThe goal is simple:\n\n**AI researches and prepares. Humans approve.**\n\nGitHub: [https://github.com/AmaLS367/TradeMcp](https://github.com/AmaLS367/TradeMcp)\n\nIf you are into MCP, AI agents, crypto tools, secure automation or trading infrastructure, check it out.", "url": "https://wpnews.pro/news/i-built-trade-mcp-remote-mcp-server-for-crypto-tools-and-safer-ai-trading", "canonical_source": "https://dev.to/amals367/i-built-trade-mcp-remote-mcp-server-for-crypto-tools-and-safer-ai-trading-workflows-2m7h", "published_at": "2026-05-31 08:54:15+00:00", "updated_at": "2026-05-31 09:11:10.437197+00:00", "lang": "en", "topics": ["ai-tools", "ai-safety", "ai-agents", "ai-products", "ai-infrastructure"], "entities": ["Trade MCP", "GitHub", "AES-256-GCM"], "alternates": {"html": "https://wpnews.pro/news/i-built-trade-mcp-remote-mcp-server-for-crypto-tools-and-safer-ai-trading", "markdown": "https://wpnews.pro/news/i-built-trade-mcp-remote-mcp-server-for-crypto-tools-and-safer-ai-trading.md", "text": "https://wpnews.pro/news/i-built-trade-mcp-remote-mcp-server-for-crypto-tools-and-safer-ai-trading.txt", "jsonld": "https://wpnews.pro/news/i-built-trade-mcp-remote-mcp-server-for-crypto-tools-and-safer-ai-trading.jsonld"}}
