Managing customer support and recovering abandoned carts for e-commerce stores using traditional text-only chatbots often feels clunky. Customers drop off, issues get delayed, and midnight support tickets sit unanswered.

To solve this, I built SupportAI—a full-duplex, low-latency AI Voice Agent designed to handle real-time customer conversations over voice calls.

⚡ What Makes Full-Duplex Voice Tricky?

Unlike standard STT (Speech-To-Text) -> LLM -> TTS pipelines that feel slow with 2–3 second delays, full-duplex voice agents need:

Ultra-Low Latency: Natural conversational turn-taking (sub-800ms response window).

Interruption Handling (Barge-in): If the customer speaks while the AI is talking, the AI must instantly stop and listen.

E-Commerce Context: Dynamic execution of actions like checking order status, handling skips/swaps, or recovering abandoned carts in real time.
