I built an open-source, offline-first timetable and assignment manager for students (UniTask)

A developer built UniTask, an open-source, offline-first timetable and assignment manager for university students, using Google AI Studio and Claude to generate the code. The app handles class schedules with lecture start alerts, assignment deadlines with persistent alarms, recurring personal to-dos, and offline JSON backups, plus study groups that share tasks via a join code. The project, originally for personal use, is now published on GitHub.

I felt the need for a personal university task(assignments, quizes, etc) manager app so I used Google AI Studio and Claude to vibe code one.

It handles daily class timetables (with lecture start alerts), assignment deadlines with persistent alarms, personal recurring to-dos, and offline JSON backups. You can also join study groups using a simple code to share tasks with classmates.

It was originally just for personal use, but I decided to make it open source and share it here. I would genuinely love to hear your thoughts, feedback, or any features you think would make it better. OR SUGGESTIONS.
