I built a tool that turns your code into clean documentation in seconds

A solo developer built CleanDocs, a tool that uses AI to generate clean, structured documentation from a GitHub repo or uploaded code in about 15 seconds. The tool is free to start and aims to solve the common problem of messy or missing documentation in software projects.

Hey everyone,

I'm a software engineer and this is my first SaaS. I kept seeing the same

problem: writing documentation is boring, and most projects end up with a messy

README that says "some app I made, works on my machine" 😅

So I built CleanDocs. You paste a GitHub repo (or upload your code), and it

generates clean, structured documentation in about 15 seconds using AI —

overview, tech stack, setup guide, routes, etc.

It's live and free to start (a few docs per month, no signup tricks). I'm not

charging yet — right now I just want real people to try it and tell me if it's

actually useful.

Would genuinely love your honest feedback — what's missing, what's confusing,

what would make you use it.
