# I Built a Free AI Screen Recorder That Auto-Edits Your Videos

Every content creator knows the pain: you spend **3-5 hours editing** a 10-minute screen recording. Cropping dead space, adding zooms, fixing transitions... it's tedious, it's boring, and it eats your life.

I built **AI Screen Recorder** to fix exactly that. It's a free, open-source tool that records your screen **AND auto-edits the result** — cropping active regions, adding smart transitions, and highlighting clicks automatically.

Most tools in this space are expensive ($15-30/month) and platform-locked. Screen Studio, for example, charges $29/mo and only works on Mac. I believe great recording tools should be **free and available everywhere**.

That's why the entire project is MIT-licensed and hosted on Vercel + GitHub Pages — zero cost to run, zero cost to use.
