# Huawei predicts global annual token consumption will rise 100,000-fold by 2035

Huawei’s latest *Intelligent World 2035: From Vision to Action* report forecasts that global annual token consumption will increase 100,000-fold by 2035, with AI-agent traffic accounting for more than 90% of the total.

The report argues that AI is shifting the digital world from an application-centered model toward an agent-centered one. Huawei also forecasts a 100-fold increase in computing-cluster scale and a 1,000-fold decline in the cost of agent tasks.
