Huawei Chairman: Strategic Focus on AI Computing & Connectivity Infrastructure

Huawei Chairman Guo Ping said the company aims to become a full-stack provider of AI-era computing and connectivity infrastructure, positioning it as a Chinese counterpart to Nvidia at the infrastructure layer rather than in foundation-model development.
