How often do you look at your Bear blog analytics? A former UX specialist who worked with analytics tools like Google Analytics and Adobe Analytics checks their Bear blog analytics daily out of habit, monitoring Google indexing and post performance. They note that while Google traffic is minimal, pages are being indexed, and they enjoy seeing which posts resonate with a global audience. How often do you look at your Bear blog analytics? I look at my Bear blog analytics a lot. While I was called a UX Specialist in my past life, I worked in two sub-niches of this speciality. I was responsible for understanding what customers "thought" of our product usability and "how" they used our products with tools like Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Qualtrics, etc. I spent the better part of my day parsing through this data and trying to determine what actionable insights I could derive from that data to make our software better. It was a good job and was pretty resistant to downsizing and layoffs. I'm sure AI is impacting these specialities now, but at least when I was doing it, my company valued the position. It goes without saying that I look at my Bear blog analytics daily. It's just sort of ingrained in me to look at this kind of data. Mainly, I'm always interested to see how Google is indexing and treating Bear blog posts. So far not much Google traffic, but I'm seeing that pages are at least making it into the index, which is a good thing. I also like to see which posts get traffic on Bear and which don't. It doesn't mean I'll write in a way that might get more eyeballs, but it's fun to see what resonates with people. I've noticed a real breadth of traffic from many countries. I suppose VPNs might be impacting these metrics, but it's nice to think about people from other countries reading your blog posts. I'd love to see more Bear blogs get some Google love because there are some really interesting content being produced. I'd love to know if anyone with an older Bear blog is getting a lot of Google traffic or if it is mainly from the community.
