How I Built a Pakistan Internet Speed Test Platform at 16 A 16-year-old developer built a Pakistan-focused internet speed testing platform called wifispeedtestpk.com while learning SEO and frontend development. The site features dedicated ISP pages for providers like PTCL, Nayatel, and Jazz, along with localized speed testing tools, geo-based ISP detection, and a multi-page architecture. The project overcame challenges including dynamic server routing, translation handling, and technical SEO issues to create a user experience similar to Ookla. While learning SEO and frontend development, I started building a Pakistan-focused internet speed testing platform. The goal was simple: Create dedicated ISP pages for PTCL, Nayatel, StormFiber, Jazz, and other Pakistani providers with localized speed testing and troubleshooting tools. Main challenges: • Dynamic server routing • Geo-based ISP detection • Translation handling • Responsive UI • Technical SEO • Google indexing • Favicon and metadata issues I also implemented: • Session-locked server selection • ISP map pages • Multi-page provider architecture • Speed test UX improvements similar to Ookla The project: https://wifispeedtestpk.com One thing I learned: Real projects teach faster than tutorials.
