I’ve been playing around with AI video tools recently, and I’ve noticed something: generating a video is getting easier, but making it look real is still quite difficult.
Sometimes you get a really good result, but then there might be one small thing that ruins it. Maybe the movement looks strange, someone’s face changes slightly, or an object suddenly behaves in a way that doesn’t make sense. Other times, the video isn’t perfect, but it still feels surprisingly realistic.
I’ve tried changing my prompts, experimenting with different camera angles and lighting, and generating the same scene multiple times. I think these things can help, but I’m still learning and I’m sure there are many techniques I haven’t discovered yet.
So I wanted to ask the community: what do you usually do to make your AI-generated videos look more realistic?
Do you spend more time on the prompt? Do you use editing after generating the video? Or do you think choosing the right AI model is the most important part?
Also, what’s the first thing that makes you realize a video was generated by AI? For me, it’s usually unnatural movement or small details changing between frames.
