# HIVE’s BUZZ HPC signs $350M GPU cloud deal, pushing contracted AI revenue to $180M annually

A five-year enterprise contract for 2,016 NVIDIA Blackwell Ultra GPUs marks another major step in HIVE's pivot away from crypto mining toward high-performance computing

HIVE Digital Technologies has landed its biggest GPU cloud contract yet. Its subsidiary BUZZ High Performance Computing signed a five-year agreement worth approximately $350M with an unnamed investment-grade enterprise customer, adding roughly $70M in annualized recurring revenue to BUZZ HPC’s books.

That single deal pushes BUZZ HPC’s total contracted GPU cloud ARR to around $180M, a figure that would have seemed implausible for a company best known, until recently, for mining Bitcoin.

## What’s being deployed

The contract calls for a dedicated AI infrastructure cluster built around 2,016 NVIDIA Blackwell Ultra GPUs, configured in NVIDIA’s GB300 NVL72 rack-scale systems. Connectivity runs through NVIDIA Quantum-X800 InfiniBand networking, which handles the high-bandwidth, low-latency communication that dense GPU clusters demand. VAST Data’s storage platform rounds out the stack on the data side.

The customer’s identity is being kept private, but HIVE describes them as investment-grade, which in credit markets means a borrower rated BBB- or higher.

## Context: this is HIVE’s second major HPC win in two months

BUZZ HPC closed a $220M three-year contract in June 2026 with Bell AI Fabric and Cohere Inc. The August deal, announced on August 17, 2026, is larger in total value and longer in duration.

Together, the two agreements represent close to $570M in total contracted value.

HIVE trades on both the TSX and NASDAQ under the ticker HIVE.
