HelpPuff – AI site chat your coding agent deploys to your Cloudflare HelpPuff launched as a free, MIT-licensed open-source AI site chat tool that deploys entirely into a customer's own Cloudflare account, with no subscription and no hosted control plane receiving customer data. Setup is driven by AI coding agents — Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or OpenCode — which take an empty folder to a tested assistant via the `helppuff init --url ... --deploy` command, learn the website, and add the embed script. The default configuration fits Cloudflare's Workers Free plan at about 300 answers a day; on Workers Paid ($5 a month) with the default model, HelpPuff costs roughly $12 a month at 1,000 messages a day, $55 at 5,000 and $108 at 10,000, with transcripts, leads and customer details stored in the user's own D1 database and website knowledge in D1 and Vectorize. HelpPuff learns your website, answers visitors, captures leads, hands chats to your team and turns requests into jobs, all inside your own Cloudflare account . No subscription, no server to patch, no chatbot vendor holding your customers. Your AI agent sets it up. Make a folder, open Claude Code, Codex or Cursor in it and paste one prompt. Nothing to configure by hand, unless you want to. Prefer the terminal? AI-agent first You don’t configure HelpPuff by hand though you can . Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or OpenCode takes an empty folder to a tested assistant on your site: it deploys it, learns your website, asks a real question and hands you the links. You only tell it your website and sign in to Cloudflare. mkdir my-assistant && cd my-assistant claude codex cursor . Then change anything by asking: › Follow the HelpPuff instructions … set up HelpPuff in this folder ● helppuff init --url https://harbour.example --deploy --json { "status": "needs input", "questions": … } ● Asked you the one thing it could not detect, re-ran { "status": "created", "deploy": { … } } ● helppuff knowledge status --json ✓ Website learned ● helppuff ask "Do you do emergency callouts?" --json ✓ Reply cites /services/emergency ● Added the embed script to app/layout.tsx Done: your dashboard, embed and preview links.
