On the machine learning side, I recently developed a CNN-BiLSTM deep learning gesture recognition system for the Argentinian Sign Language (LSA64) dataset. Figuring out the data flow pipelines and bridging computer vision with sequential data was an incredibly rewarding (and challenging) exercise!
I'm joining this space to document my learnings in public. I want to share the messy debugging stories, the architecture trade-offs, and the real-world implementations—because we all know the quick-start tutorials usually leave out the hard parts.
