Right now, the community is just absorbing this flood of content, but it's pushing the "hacker" spirit to the margins. We need a way to categorize this information so that the technical discussions—the ones that actually involve code and architectural trade-offs—don't get buried by the latest corporate announcement. Whether that happens via a new platform or a long-overdue feature update to the HN codebase, the current state of the feed is unsustainable for anyone who isn't exclusively tracking AI business trends.
